Was Samson a Genetic Experiment ?

If you are not aware, the story of Samson is found in the Bible, in Judges 13 - 16.

In short, it started with a childless couple who implored the Bible-god for a child. It was granted, and the Bible-god told them the child would be a son, and he will have his power in his hair. And he was not supposed to shave his hair so that he will have the power to deliver Israel from the Philistines.

Samson grew up and was strong enough to tear a lion apart. The Philistines became afraid of him. But they used a woman Delilah to find out that Samson's power was in his hair, and got him drunk one night and shaved his hair, and blinded him. In captivity, Samson's hair grew back, and he tore down the temple of the Philistines, killing many of them, including himself.

First Case Ever Heard

This is the only case of a human having power in his hair heard in any book in the world. We humans have discovered genetic engineering today, and the possibilities are frightening. As the couple who implored the Bible-god was childless, this could be a case of genetics, and it could be an experiment of the Bible-god to produce a form of more powerful humans for his desired purpose. If it was not genetics, Samson could have been born to any normal couple. In addition, the power in his hair was already foretold by the Bible-god, implying that he was the designer. But it seems that it did not meet his requirements as it was not repeated.

His hair could have been a kind of conductor for the Bible-god to transmit power to him, for it is stated that when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, then he had superhuman power.

Judges 14:6
The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat.

Judges 14:19
Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of their belongings and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle.
Judges 15
14 As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands. 15 Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men.


(Later in the New Testament, we are told that Jesus was born of a virgin. Could that be another case of genetic engineering?)

Does this story contain any clue to the power of our hair? Why do we lose our hair as we grow older? Is it in our DNA? Did the Bible-god alter the DNA of Samson to give him more power? Why didn't Samson possess his power regardless of his hair?

I wonder if I will live to see this or similar experiment repeated by humans???
