Questions on Cloning
The word cloning in relation to animals and humans is now so common that it does not even cause any of us to react in any way. Scientists have succeeded in cloning animals, and it is only a matter of time when we will see human cloning (a few cases of experiment had been done, but none of the cloned babies could reach birth.) I have a few questions in mind. I will assume that all living things with a brain has a soul (that excudes trees and plants).
First, when a few animals are cloned and they have the exact characteristics of the original animal, what about the soul? Do they share the same soul? If not then how can they be exact duplicates, and did the souls that entered the clones come to this world willing? If yes, then have we succeeded in getting a soul reincarnated at our will (the fact is that as long as we clone an animal successfully, it needs s soul to be alive; the same applies to human beings)? Does this mean that if there is a God, He may not be in complete control of us and our fate and destiny?
Second, is it possible for a few physical bodies to share one soul? If so, does that make each part exists in a less powerful way compared to one-soul-one-body (that would explain why some people are weaker than others, and some are very much stronger)?

Incidentally, via words of mouth, the Chinese had passed on the beliefs on reincarnation for years (in fact, this topic is an assumed truth for many years till today), and it is believed that before entering the human world into a womb, every soul is required to drink a cup of liquid that will wipe our his memory of his past lives and the other world. Human Sacrifice and Aliens
I was reading an article about human sacrifices in the history of mankind, and suddenly it dawned on me that this practice could have been initiated by aliens on the poor helpless people in those dark ages. Think of these points :
1. why would anyone kill one of his own kind for whatever reasons, other than that there is no other choice?
2. why were human sacrifices almost always a young woman? why not an old man, old woman, or even a young man?
3. the altars used by these ancient people were always high, and often on a mountain - this suits the aliens' spacecraft coming from the sky; it also makes it easy for them to locate the altar;
4. why were sacrifices done on a regularly basis?
5. very often, the reason recorded for these sacrifices was 'to appease the gods'.
6. some sacrifices were also burnt; why?
Today, we do not see such practices any more, and there is no need to appease these gods. Why? I suspect that the aliens involved could have located these isolated tribes and used technology to frighten them into believing that they were god/s and then forced them to worship and obey them (sounds just like what happened in the Bible, right?).

Maybe they could not procreate on their own anymore and needed something from us. Or maybe they wanted to taste human meat (then that explains the burnt sacrifice)? The Hopi Prophecy Mystery
There is this mystery known as the Hopi Prophecy. 'Hopi' is the name of an Indian tribe. Just like the book of Revelations in the Bible, it foretells the destruction of the evil man and the world, but the tribe of Hopi will be safe (just as Christians will be saved when the world ends with lots and lots of destruction from their God of love).
I dont find it making much sense. Again I speculate that most likely aliens visited this tribe and tried to tell them of the coming developments in technology. Maybe the aliens planned to come back to earth to visit them, but have not done so or have changed their minds.
I wonder why there were so many prophecies from the distant past, but none today? Why was there no prediction about fantastic inventions like the computer, the internet, SMS, handphones, etc? All predictions and prophecy from the past are rather vague and can be interpreted in many ways.

Aliens on Mars?
A photo from NASA looks like there is a skull of a being on Mars.
I wonder what is the actual size.
Zachariah Sitchin, who believes that we are the product of an alien race via genetic engineering, speculated that these aliens used Mars as a launching base for their UFOs. If this skull is proven to be true, then his theory will get greater weight.

Homosexuality and Lesbianism
A heated debate is now in progress in Singapore after the recent AWARE saga. It seems that at the centre of the storm is a group of Christians who were not comfortable with what they thought was a hidden agenda by the pioneers of AWARE aimed at promoting Homosexuality and Lesbianism. They claimed that it against the teachings of the Bible.
Of course now the bigger debate is whether religions should have any influence on secular laws of a country. How can these Christians use their Biblical teachings to impose on non-believers? That is definitely the first wrong move.
But my question is, when in history was it instituted that Homosexuality and Lesbianism are wrong? And who made the institution?
Today, it is wrong in the sense that certain aspects of sex are not acceptable to the majority of the population. That is the meaning of right and wrong - whether things are acceptable by the majority, and not absolutes.
One example in the Christian circles is the phenomenon of 'speaking in tongues'. It is recorded in the Bible. But up to the 80s, some denominations of Christians believed in it as from God while some did not and labelled it as from the devil. Today, most of the Christians believe in it, with many skeptics getting converted. So again, there was no absolutes in that case.
Thus, my question is, will it be a matter of time that the world and christians will accept Homosexuality and Lesbianism as normal? I think so.

Can Anyone Become A Saint Today?
Can a Saint Exist in this World?
Can anyone on earth today achieve the following while living the life of a normal person, such as having a family, go to work, need to eat and invest, etc?
1. turns the other cheek when slapped;
2. forgives and forgets all wrongs done to him;
3. get hurt over and over again and does not react;
4. does not destroy any kind of life;
5. overcomes the temptation of sex;
6. gets along with everyone around him;
7. trusts everything and everyone;
8. never utter a word that hurts someone; etc.
I have never seen or met one, or ever read of one, besides of course saints like Buddha and Jesus. Those like Mother Teresa were more like cut off from the normal lifestyle that I am talking about. Consider some scenarios:
1. If someone attacks you and your family with the intention of causing physical harm, would you be so saintly as to let him do it without trying to protect yourself and your family?
2. If a dog attacks you and the only way to save your own life is to kill the dog, would you do it?
3. If you are dying from hunger, would you steal some food if that is the only way to stay alive?
My conclusion is that such a state cannot be achieved by any human being on earth. Our mind is so powerful that it is difficult to forget wrongs, unless we have dementia. A person who is bullied again and again and does not do something to try and remove the situation out of his life cannot be a saint. We would say this person is stupid, mad or of low IQ.
If you happen to be one who believe that you can find a place on earth where everything and everyone is perfect (with all the above-mentioned 8 characteristics), I can tell you very surely that you are wrong. You cannot escape from reality. Some people try to escape by becoming a nun or monk. But we have read of the many shocking stories of monks who raped other monks or nuns, molest children, and also of nuns who are lesbians, etc. Some become hermits. Some withdraw themselves from society and stay at home.
A monastery or nunnery may not be such a perfect place you imagine it to be. The same thing can be said of other places of worship. Just because a person labels himself or herself with some spiritual titles likes ‘pastor’, ‘preacher’ does not mean that he is any better than a normal person.
So remember, live in the reality of the harsh situation on this earth where there are thieves, robbers, rapists, bullies, hunger, deaths, grudges, quarrels, back-stabbing, etc. Be as good as you are, by should the need arises for you to react, do so accordingly, hopefully without breaking any laws in the country you are in. In school, people compete for grades, and some resort to cheating and dirty tactics to get what they want. In the working world I see people doing all kind despicable acts just to gain an advantage over others to get themselves promoted, or just to cause all kinds of troubles for others. Some are given authority over others, and they abuse their authority for personal gains and to grant favors to those they like.
How far you need to or wish to go to protect yourself and your loved ones and friends is your choice. It also depends on how sensitive your conscience is. It is a jungle out there, believe me.

Religion And Secularism - AWARE of Singapore
AWARE of Singapore
If you had been following the exiting and mysterious saga of the takeover of guards at AWARE of singapore, you probably would be asking a few questions of your own. If you wish to find out more, go to Sg Politics which had this issue covered comprehensively. The latest information out today have raised more questions about mixing religion and secularism.
From my point of view in the analysis of religions, in particular Christianity (the main reason being that it condemns all other beliefs and religions, and also condemns all who do not accept Jesus as their personal Savior to hell; such a doctrine has very side implications), there will always those who have reached a stage where they think that they are so close to their god that they begin judging others and the whole world. Such behavior normally ends up with a new cult, and most, if not all, cult leaders proclaim that they are the only righteous ones who will go to heaven, while all outside their church (and that includes all others who call themselves Christians) will end up in hell.
Now the focus is on the claims that the pastor/s of the Church of our Savior (COOS in short) had orchestrated the hostile takeover of the AWARE organisation as the latter's old guards had allowed discussions on homosexuality and lesbianism without openly declaring that they are wrong. Up to yesterday, the pastors and church members involved had denied any kind of organised behavior, but leaked emails from them had indicated otherwise, with allegations that the pastors themselved were directly behind the whole saga.
I have seen many such individuals who proclaim to be a servant of god, but end up trying to condemn the world and all others. It is clearly written in the BIble that Jesus said, "Judge not that ye be not judged.". The whole world, Christians and non-Christians, will be judged by god himself, according to the BIble. So why are Christians judging others now? When a crowd tried to humiliate a prostitute, Jesus did not condemn her, but asked to to repent (as recorded in the Gospels). So clearly, some self-righteous Christians today think that they are equal to god and are clearly out to judge the world, and that is in direct oppositon to what Jesus commanded.
If nothing is done, I can only predict that COOS will soon become a cult.
The next point is, AWARE is not a religious organisation, but a secular one. If COOS wishes to speak up against homosexuality and lesbianism, it should be and can be done via their own pulpit, to their own congregation. They should not link themselves to AWARE at all. Surely relision and secularism do not mix.
Lastly, the behavior of the so-called Christians involved do not speak very well for their god, does it?

The Bible and Aliens
I read the book of Leviticus in the Bible many times over many years, and it made no sense at all in relation to the Bible-god. No preacher could also explain exactly what it means to this day. Then inspiration came upon me the last time I read it, and it made a whole lot of sense now. Read my interpretation and judge for yourself. Get others to read it. Then please refute me and tell me if I am wrong. I have posted it here for many months, and no one had sent me any feedback or refuted an iota of it till today. Money or Serving God?
Today, one of the headlines in Singapore is one employee of The New Creation Church was paid at least S$500,000 for 2009. Money and religion is always a sticky issue, more so when there is a recession, most people earn less than S$50K a year, and these are the people who contribute to the high pay of such 'religious' people. The statement by the church is that this guy is responsible for the growth of the church - I think what the church means is that since the income has gone into millions of dollars, what is $500,000? Sounds very close to what happened to the Kidney Foundation in Singapore a few years ago.
But what I wish to ask is,
1. is church growth due to a person's effort, or is it God's credit?
2. if this guy is not paid so much, will he continue working for the church (or working for God, for that matter)? would he strive so hard to get more money for the church?
3. the church members earn much less per person, and they gave with the belief that the money would be put to good use; is paying one person so much putting the money to good use?,etc.
As I have mentioned in my earlier posts, religion today is just a front for some people to make more money. Look at all the rich leaders of temples, churches, cults, etc. I am of the conviction that a true man seeking God would know deep down in his heart that even if money does come into his life, he would make full use of it for the work of the God he believes in, and not for personal benefits. If he wants money, go into business and stop using the hard-earned money of the church members.
As Jesus has said, beware of wolves in sheep's clothings.

They had no place to call home and usually had to stay in a member's home wherever they went. One missionary shared that he was so poor that he could not even afford a bra for his wife. The Aluminium Wedge of Aiud
A mysterious piece of artifact was found in 1974 on Romania. It was a wedge-shaped metal piece. It was not until 20 years later that it was analyzed. It weighed 5 pounds, and dimensions were 8.25 X 5 X 2.75 inches. It was found to be composed of 89% aluminium, and 11 other minor metals.
The mystery is that aluminium is not a natural metal, but manufactured. Mankind only begun producing it in the middle of the 19th century. This piece of metal was estimated to be about 20,000 years old.
So who could have made this aluminium block, and what was it used for? Surely the question crops up again - an intelligent race of beings, whether human or alien, must have existed at the time this block was made.
Well, our great scientists of course react in an expected manner - it is a fake. So we can see that whatever the scientists cannot explain, they brush them aside. It is their ego and pride of not admitting that they do not know all?

Foundation of Science and Evolution Shaken - Again
I had been of the opinion that science cannot be taken to be the end-all of knowledge, as there are still many unexplored areas in the universe. Hence, all theories that we have till today may, or probably will be, challenged by new discoveries as mankind discovers more and more of its past.
Today, there is a report that the remains of a feathered dinosaur in China has shocked scientists, as they had been limited in their thinking that dinosaurs did not have feathers based on what they have discoverd till yesterday. Now, their evolution theories are completely in disarray. This dinosaur has been named 'Tianyulong', meaning 'dragon of the open sky' in Chinese. It is 70cm long.
I am convinced that till the day we die, we will never be able the know the complete truth of anything in this universe. Agree?

The Mystery of the Dashka Stone
Scientists cannot explain this.
Known as the Dashka Stone, it is estimated to be 120 millions years old. It contains a 3-D map of the surround area. Only an aerial view from some high altitude could allow such a map to be made. Language used cannot be deciphered till today.

Her Name in Hell
This woman told me her story.
She had been searching for the truth of life and wondered where she would go to after death. After many years, she had a dream one night. In her dream, she went to hell, which looked like a very grand palace to her. She was able to tell that it was hell as she saw the different hell characters as seen in some Chinese movies (no further details given).
She was amazed and also bewildered, and began looking around for information about next life. She then saw a huge book titled "Book of Life and Death". Instinctively she opened it to search for her name. She found her name and also that of her nephew. Then she woke up.
She was rather troubled by that dream as she realised that her name was in the Book. Days passed as she pondered over it. One day, she was talking to her mother and found out that her brother, who used to have undesirable habits and considered 'bad', was now a changed person and treated his family and mother very well.
This woman was very puzzled, and went to visit her brother to find out what had happened. He told her that he had found the answer to death, and that was The Way (Tao) as taught by Buddha, in a temple in Singapore. She was amazed, decided to pay the temple a visit. On her first visit, she knelt at the altar to ask for directions about life and death. Suddenly she felt like she was struck by a bolt of lightning, and a voice told her that her name had been transferred from hell to heaven. After that experience, she told her nephew to go to that temple as she saw his name in hell.

The Chinese Ghost Month
For the uninformed, there is a Chinese belief that on its Lunar 7th Month, also widely known as the Ghost Month, all hungry ghosts (purportedly the souls of human beings who had died and are trapped in hell for some reasons) are allowed to come out of hell and visit the earth. The only purpose is to allow them to have food to eat. The food they eat are not our physical food but the spiritual essence of the food (I am not too sure about this theory). Only foods that are offered to them can be eaten by them. The sign to them is the presence of two lit red candles and/or some joss sticks. The typical way is to put all the foods on an altar (as shown below).
Food offered include most of what we consume as humans, such as fruits, cooked foods, cooked meat dishes, drinks, etc. Offerings can be directed only to the deceased you know, such as a family member, by writing his/her name on the altar.
Hell Notes
Beliefs include the use of money, known as hell notes, in hell. The living can buy such notes easily in shops and supermarts and eBay, bundle them together, write the names of the the recipients, and offer them with the foods. After an estimated time of about half-an-hour to 2 hours, it is assumed that the ghost is finished with the food. The hell notes are then burned (it is believed that they turn into real notes in the spiritual realm). The better the paper quality, the more it costs in our world, and the more valuable it is in the next world. Some of the notes look like these:

In addition to hell notes, beliefs include burning of paper models of houses, maids, electrical applicances, etc. These are also believed to be transformed into reality when they 'reach' the other world.
Operas
As it is believed that ghosts are suffering in hell and this month is a time for them to take a break, operas are shown on makeshift stages built along roadsides or empty spaces, to let these ghosts enoy them. So do not be surprised if you should see such stages with operas and no human audiences.
People With Third Eye Opened
It is quite strange this belief, origins which cannot be traced, has survived till the technological age of our time. There is no way to prove it scientifically or otherwise. It is peculiar to the Chinese, and they had brought these beliefs with them wherever they went all over the world. I wonder what force is behind these beliefs that keep them alive?
Of course it is up to us to choose to believe or not to, but there are some people who claim that they can see the other world, and some of those I have met told me that these beliefs are true. They do see it happening every year, and they find it very frightening. So much so that they avoid going out of their homes during this month. According to them, what are true include hell notes, food offerings, paper models, all kinds of ghost (good-looking, from different time periods, ugly, bloody, long tongues, etc).
Interesting Points
Assuming that this is true, then I have some interesting points to make.
Firstly, this belief spans over many countries in the world, with different time zones. The Gates of Hell is supposed to be opened during this 7th month. Hence, which time zone is used as reference? Do the ghosts reach Singapore first, or Taiwan, or China? Maybe the answer is that since there is no time factor in the other world (as time exists only on earth or other planets), there is some way of synchronising events their way.
Secondly, as I had asked in a previous post about the whereabouts of Heaven and Hell, these beliefs may tie in with my speculations. If Hell is attached to the earth in a different dimension, then the ghosts can be released at any time of the year. So since it is only on the Lunar 7th month that this happens yearly, this pattern may tell us that hell and earth coincide only once a year, over a period of 1 month of our calendar. Outside of this period, the ghost might not be able to reach us as the earth moves away. Logical isn't it?
If that is true, it could also be true for Heaven. But this hell seems to be for Chinese only! Those with the third eyes opened also told me that they seldom see non-Chinese ghosts. That is another mysterious point that puzzles me.
Thirdly, these ghosts are offered operas that feature stories and acting costumes of one particular period of ancient China. This has not been updated to newer ideas like modern soap operas, musicals, TV serials, Youtube, etc. That again is another mysterious point.
Lastly, I wonder for how long more this belief and the related activities will last....

Faster Airplanes Coming Soon ?
A new kind of paper, known as Bucky paper, has been invented. It is 10 times lighter than steel, yet 500 times stronger! Scientists are now excited about the new possibilities with this new product - lighter and faster planes, rockets, cars, etc. So it seems that stories about UFOs zipping at high speed may be true after all! With such great progress in technology today, I hope to see a flying saucer invented by mankind before I die.

Aliens or Gods?

I have mentioned in one or more of my posts that I noticed that such ancient sacred sites, where mysterious are found, are often on mountain tops. Why? The Mysterious Mayan Calendar
Who are the Mayans
They were a people who lived in Mesoamerica, and that includes Mexico and Costa Rica. The time was from about 2000BC.
What is Special About Them
They had mastered astronomy, developed an elaborate written language, built towering monuments, and left behind exquisite artifacts.
They built impressive structures like these, including pyramids:
A calendar known as the Aztec calendar looks like this :
It weighs almost 25 tons, has a diameter of just under 12 feet, and a thickness of 3 feet.260-Day Calendar
The Mayan had two calendars. One is a 260-day calendar, broken up into 20 periods, with each period containing 13 days. This was used for religious purposes.
365-Day Calendar
Somewhat like ours today, it has 365 days and was divided into 18 periods, with each period containing 20 days. This left five days that were not represented and considered days of nothing. This was a time of festivals.
Other calendars
In addition, the Mayans had 17 different Calendars based on the Cosmos. Some of these calendars go back as far as ten million years and are so difficult that you would need an astronomer, astrologer, geologist, and a mathematician figure them out. They also made tables predicting eclipses and the orbit of the planet Venus. How could the ancient mayans do what we cannot do or understand today with our supercomputers? Isn't that something we should ask and wonder if there had been help from some sources, like aliens, who have far greater knowledge than us? Why would they need so many calendars in the first place? Did aliens come from Venus or Mars and taught the Mayan all those knowledge?
Movement of Planets
The Dresden Codex is one of the few surviving books from the ancient Mayan civilization. It is filled with numeric equations based upon the movement of the planets, the sun and the stars. They took particular interest in the movements of Mars and Venus. How could these ancient people have such knowledge (we don't even have them today) without the use of advanced technology? Why would they want these knowledge if they did not have use for them?
They had a magic number-1,366,560. No one knows what it means today.
They had a god named Quetzalcoatl, who promised to return one day.

What is attracting attention now is that the Mayan has a calendar that spans over 25000 years, and our year 2012 is the end of their current calendar. It is accurate even to the day - 21st December. Some people take it as the end of the world. Some predict a spiritual renewal (whatever that means is open to interpretation). The fact is, no one knows what will happen, and no other ancient prophecies has anything on it, not even the Book of Revelations in the Bible.

New Buddha
As I have mentioned in earlier posts, why is it that there are no new holy men after Jesus Christ and Buddha? This boy was supposedly discovered meditating in a jungle under a pipal tree (same kind of tree that Buddha meditated under). It is claimed that he had been meditating for 7 months without food and water (but I wonder how those who discovered him knew that). He has been hailed as the new Buddha. Strangely he kept disappearing and then coming back to the people who believed him. Up to now, nothing really special has happened.
So what if he can survive 7 months of fasting? Does that make him holy? How does such a feat help in bringing world peace or raise the level of spiritual experience in the world? What good has he done for the world? What new teachings has he brought on top of what Buddha has taught?

Amphibious Gods ?
An amphinian refers to an animal that can live in water or on land.
As a normal human being with average IQ, would you believe in a god that is an amphibian, or half-man-half-beast? I won't, as I naturally expect a more powerful being that deserves my worship and fear would be something like a superhuman.

When Were Planes Invented?
To us humans, the first flight was achieved in 1903 by the Wright Brothers. But Leonardo Da Vinci was already designing some form of flying objects in the 13th century (it makes me wonder who this guy is and where he got his ideas from). But aeroplane models from the ancient past had been unearthed and analysis by scientists show that these models were in exact proportion to real flying planes. If we do not believe in an advanced civilisation that existed long before us, then how can we explain such facts?

Where Are Heaven and Hell?
If heaven and hell do exist, where are they? Firstly, in which dimension are they? They cannot be in our physical dimension, as we can only go there after we die, in our soul. Religions often teach that heaven is up, hell is down. But we know that the earth is a sphere, so up and down are only empty space. Hence, this cannot be accepted.

Also, we know that the earth is revolving round the Sun. Does that mean that heaven and hell are moving together with the earth? That would require the theory of parallel existance to be true, meaning that heaven and hell are same in location as the earth but in a different mode of existance (there is the theory that in the same location, many things can exist together, but at different frequencies; thus, if ghosts and spirits are true, then they are vibrating at a frequency different from ours, that is why we cannot interact with them).
At the same time, the whole Solar System is travelling at a high speed through the Universe. So heaven and hell must also be attached to the Solar System in some way if they exist.
But if that is true, then are they meant for humans living on earth only? What if there are other intelligent life like us on other planets? Would they be talking about the same heaven and hell, or do they have their own?
This is a puzzle to me, and no religious teachings seem to have any answers. During the short period, some of them reported experiences of hell or heaven. Usually the duration of their experiences are short, like minutes or a few hours. Eckankar
Eckankar is a little know religion (or cult as some would rather call it). I read some of their books and found them to be very vague and shallow in terms of philosophy. Their beliefs are not concrete. The only attraction they offer is to teach you to astral travel - that means your soul leaving your body to travel in other worlds.

The Earliest Seismoscope
A Seismoscope is an instrument used for predicting the coming of an earthquake. Who invented the first the earliest Seismoscope? The Chinese philosopher Chang Heng in 132AD.
The instrument looked like a wine jar. Its diameter was six feet. On the outside of the were eight dragon-heads. They faced the eight principal directions of the
compass. Below each of the dragon-heads was a toad. The toads had open mouths facing the dragon. There was a ball in the mouth of each dragon.
When an earthquake took place, one of the eight dragon-mouths would release a ball into the open mouth of the toad situated below. The place of the earthquake could be determined by the fallen ball.
I wonder how this person had the knowledge to invent this instrument. Where did he get his knowledge from? No one has been able to fully unravel the design of this instrument, and no one has duplicated it. How is that possible? With our advanced technology today, we are still at the mercy of earthquakes.
I can only suggest that he got his knowledge from some advanced beings, or aliens.

compass. Below each of the dragon-heads was a toad. The toads had open mouths facing the dragon. There was a ball in the mouth of each dragon.
When an earthquake took place, one of the eight dragon-mouths would release a ball into the open mouth of the toad situated below. The place of the earthquake could be determined by the fallen ball.
I wonder how this person had the knowledge to invent this instrument. Where did he get his knowledge from? No one has been able to fully unravel the design of this instrument, and no one has duplicated it. How is that possible? With our advanced technology today, we are still at the mercy of earthquakes.
I can only suggest that he got his knowledge from some advanced beings, or aliens.

Four Great Chinese Inventions
It is a well-known fact that the ancient Chinese had four original inventions attributed to them, and they are,
- paper
- printing
- gunpowder
- compass
I often marvel at how these ancient people, who did not have our technology and mass communication means to communicate and discuss, managed to invent these things. Did they do it on their own, or could they have received help from sources like aliens? Production of paper and the process of printing are not easy ones, so how did the inventor/s even begin to think of it?

Today, our scientists spends months and years in labouratories before something new is invented, and most inventions are built on what we already have. But the ancient people had nothing to start with, so how could the inventor had visualised something like paper and printing? There was also no incentive like making money through mass production. They supposedly had no scientific knowledge like we have today, so how could they carry out experiments before inventing the process of making paper?
Then why would they invent the compass if they did not need it? Since they invented it,we can safely assume that they had some use for it. But we do not really know what. Maybe they had other technlologies which we do not know. Maybe the compass was not invented by them, but was left behind by some aliens who came in spaceships?

The Fibonacci Numbers
Begin with 0 and 1.
Add 0 and 1 to get 1, and it becomes 0,1,1.
Add 1 and 1 to get 2, then it becomes 0,1,1,2
Add 2 and 1 to get 3, then it becomes 0,1,1,2,3
Add 3 and 2 to get 5, then it becomes 0,1,1,2,3,5
Keep repeating and the series becomes 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,24,43, .....
These are known as the Fibonacci numbers. They were first discovered in India before being rediscovered in Europe (strange that the ancient people know more than us, isn't it? I take it as another supporting point for my suspicion that aliens came and passed on these information to mankind some time in the past).
There are many facinating facts related to these numbers. There is no point for me to repeat them as there are many sites on it. These numbers are found in nature in many ways, such as designs of spirals, leaf patterns, etc. What has it got to do with the theory or belief in creation? Does everything in the universe boil down to mathematics? What will our scientists discover in future?

How Many Souls Are There?
Let's assume that our existance is in the form of a soul - our bodies are not immortal in the physical sense, thus after we die, we should exist in a different form. We do not fully know or understand what is not seen, so there are many beliefs and theories, all unproven. Some believe we will be a spirit after death. But what is the difference, if any, between a soul and a spirit? Since we do not know, let's just say that we will continue as a soul after death. If we do not believe in existance after physical death, then life would be meaningless on this earth. So let us assume that there is life after physical death.
We know that the population on the earth had been increasing over the years. Does that mean that every birth is a creation of a new soul somewhere unknown to us? If we add up all the figures of the world population for the last 1 million years and the figure comes to 100 billion, does that mean that there are at least 100 billion souls in existance (not counting others in the universe, unknown to us)?
Some possibilities are:
a. a soul can exist in more than one physical person in this universe; that would mean less souls;
b. a soul can come back to earth after death (reincarnation); that would also mean less souls.
Of course, we do not know the truth. But assuming that there are at least 50 billion souls in existance, then I wonder where these souls are, what they are doing, and what is the purpose (if any) of existance? How many news souls are created, and at what rate?
Some teachings that claim to be Buddhist in origin (I am not sure if Buddha did give them) claim that there are at least 7 levels of spiritual existance, with the physical level (our level) as one of them. The lower levels (using our earth as reference) are hell, while the higher levels are heavens. The purpose of our lives here is to improve our spiritual level so that we can reach the highest heaven, where, it is claimed, enlightened souls like Buddha, Jesus, etc, are living. These are souls who have the choice of coming to earth as a human being to bring teachings that will help us grow to be better spiritual beings (I find it strange that after Jesusand Buddha, there had been not other enlightened souls on earth; those who claim to know spiritual truths often quote only these two persons; this again leads me to believe that they were more like robotic beings sent to earth by some advanced race in the past; that also explains why they could fast for long periods, be crucified and suffer all kinds of punishments, and appear to be superhuman. I hope mankind will create such a robot in the near future, and then our views on these people will change).

What is Nanotechnology?
It is good to keep up with science, as I believe that our future will somehow be the result of it, whether good or bad, positive or negative. Usually the effects of science are only felt in the long-term, and that may mean centuries. Genetic engineering of food has been implemented, and to stop us consumers from protesting or boycotting, there are no information on these foods. We are not even aware of what we are eating.
Now, nanotechnolgy comes along. What is it and how will it affect us? Will it cause humans to become impotent (many stories about alien abductions are about aliens using human victims to reproduce for them) such that we will need to look for another race somewhere in the universe to reproduce babies for us in the future?

With God Nothing Is Impossible?
In the Bible, it is claimed that nothing is impossible with Bible-god. It is also stated that the Bible-god said that man shall one day be like gods.
This can be interpreted as the Bible-god, as an advanced alien, know that man will on day reach their state of technology and perform what he/they was doing then. It seems that this is slowly but surely coming true.
The latest announcement by scientists is that extinct creatures, if their dna can be found in certain conditions, can be re-created.

Catholic Church in Malaysia
A catholic newspaper in Malaysia, The Herald, had been told by the government that it could not use the world 'Allah', which is God for the Muslims. The editor is now fighting the case, and meanwhile the newspaper has been banned. 60% of the 27 million people in Malaysia are bumiputras ( which means 'Son of the soil'). Their language is Bahasa Melayu and religion is Islam. They also have the majority in the government.
All these aside, my point is, why is the catholic newspaper harping on this issue? How does it help them to further their religion and belief in God by insisting that they can use the word 'Allan'? In what way will winning the case be good to mankind in general? Will it help more people to find God and go to heaven (if there is one)?
I think the editor has nothing better to do. If he spends these energy fighting this case into helping those in need, I think the final outcome would be more commendable.
