Chocolate Jesus

Believers of religions are usually rather sensitive people and very protective of their beliefs. Many wars and violent acts had taken place with roots of religious disagreement. That is why religious harmony is of utmost importance. Wherever possible, we should live and let live. Singapore is the best example of religious harmony in the whole world, and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew should be credited for his foresight in this area. 

But at times, religious beliefs can blind a person to facts, and that is the real danger. I read about how a man came up with the idea of making figurines of Jesus (the Son of God as believed by Christians and related religions) in chocolate. Of course, Christians are not happy about it.  This guy, Cosimo Cavallaro, is an artist who loves to work with food. I will not talk about him too much.

My point here is, no one has ever seen Jesus Christ, and photography and videography did not exist during his time. The Bible also forbid anyone to produce anything of likeness to Jesus (but this commandment has been violated by many Christians today as we see paintings, figurines, etc of  Jesus). So I was thinking, instead of finding fault with this guy, why are Christians not talking about violation of this commandment? Isn't  that a more important issue? In addition, since no one knows who Jesus Christ looked like, this chocolate cannot be Him, but simply Jesus. 

Hence, I do not see this as a religious issue.

Difference Between Fanatic and Believer

As a seeker for the truth, I need to keep checking myself, to make sure that I remain rational and objective in whatever analysis and decision I make. In my encounters with people of various beliefs, I can plainly see two main types of people - the fanatic and the believer.

The believer is one who does not dwell very deeply in his beliefs. He simply calls himself a believer, associate with people of the same beliefs, and follow the crowd. He does not ask questions, or accepts answers to his questions easily. He does not add anything to what he follows.

The fanatic is one who is totally brainwashed by what he has been taught, and is basically an extremist. He lives out his beliefs to the extreme and gives his all (time, money, etc) to his beliefs. His strongest driving force is that all those who do not follow his beliefs and go to the same place as him (such as a church) will end up in hell. He is convinced that only he and his fellow believers will go to heaven. Unknowingly, he actually worships the leader of the belief system and not any kind of God (but he does not realise it). The group that such a person joins is known as a cult.

Lately I had been reading some details on some 'dynamic, famous Christian leaders', such as Benny Hinn, Cho Yonggi, Oral Roberts, etc. They are revered by most Christians, to the point that I see them as having a status not below a god. They have their shortcomings, but their followers often just brush them aside. Even though they are accepted by the mainstream churches and most Christians, I see them as cultic leaders. Strangely or not, the common characteristic among these people is - they are filthy rich, multi-millionaires with their private mansions and private jets, and they keep asking their members for more money. Their followers are so brainwahsed that they ask me 'what is wrong with being rich?'. 

So as a form of warning to my readers, be careful, do not be drawn into a cult, for it can ruin your life completely, and you can lose you mind. Always be rational in your beliefs. Seek the Supreme God, and not any man who make all kinds of boastful claims.

The mysterious ICA stones

Did man and dinosaurs co-exist, as opposed to what scientists say - that they were extinct long before man appeared on the scene?

The mysterious stones of ICA, Peru, is so far the only object to show carvings of men hunting dinosaurs. Besides this, some of the stones had carvings of men using telescopes, performing surgery, primitive fishes, ancient map of the earth, acupuncture, etc. As usual, scientists will say this is a hoax, but even though it is always a possibility in every case of this kind, there is no proof. And scientists are supposed to base their theory and conclusion on proof.

Aliens in Singapore, 1965

I did not get to see the small aliens, but it happened in my neighbourhood in the year 1964 or 1965. I was a small boy then, staying along Havelock Road, Singapore (the pre-war houses had been demolished). Opposite the stretch of pre-war houses was Havelock Community Centre (CC). One Sunday, a group of about 10 kids ran from the CC and excitedly exclaimed that they saw a few small figures, about 1 foot tall (0.3m), dressed like astronauts, running around in one part of the garden. I joined the crowd that ran to the CC hoping to catch a glimpse of it but without success.

Later, the whole story was that the kids chased aliens and tried to catch them, but was hit by bullets from weapons that looked like machine-guns. The aliens then ran into a small bush, and the next moment, a small space-ship flew away. about 4 of the kids showed us the bullet marks on their hands. I remember that the story was published in a chinese newspaper the next day, with photos of the kids' bullet marks.

I have no success in tracing this report.

Iron Pillar Without Rust

Iron that does not rust? This is an impossible for our world, yet there is an iron pillar in India, dating back to the 4th century, that has not rusted till today. Of course, scientists have tried to explain it away as usual. The usual questions we ask about strange artifacts like this - why was it made, how did the people move it at 6.5 tons, etc.

The main characteristics are:

1. 1,600 years old
2. located in Delhi
3. 7.3m tall, with 1 m below ground
4. diameter 48 cm
5. weight 6.5 tons

3D Projection Technology is Here

In one of my earlier posts, I had speculated that some ancient records, notably the Bible, could have been records of what people saw as miracles, but could have been the result of advanced technology of aliens. Yesterday, for the news on the American elections, CNN used the latest technology to beam the body of journalist Jessica Yellin to a studio, making it like she was in two places at the same time. This is exactly what we read about old saints in ancient records. Am I getting nearer to the truth, that what we read about the past were all the works of one or more alien tribes who deceived the people to think that they were gods? Was the resurrection of Jesus Christ done with this technolgy?

Remember that Moses and Aaron died but their bodies were not found, as recorded in the Bible? Moses allegedly appeared to some people in the New Testament times. Was his body used for this technology to beam his hologram?

Anyway, such a feat can be achieved today with technology, and thus, it has nothing to do with the Supreme God.
